OAYouth gets donation of farms in Zim and RSA

Organisation of African Youth in March secured multiple hectares of rich prime land for our agriculture entrepreneurial initiatives in Zimbabwe and South Africa. We have been given the full use of a Farm in Rustenburg, South Africa for free lease. There also is a farm in Zimbabwe which we will start utilising in May, that has been made available for members in Zimbabwe.

The farms were donated by private citizens in support of Agricultural projects for youth.

Our intention is to develop a commercial poultry production at first for both farms, run by our members to raise capital for their own initiatives. The farms will be a training ground for those willing to take up agribusiness. Thereafter we will move to horticulture, vegetables and diversified animal husbandry, while we acquire new properties.

The Agriculture project is soon to expand to other countries where we are able to get farming land. Possible countries where we are exploring partnerships are Nigeria, Liberia, Ghana, Tanzania, Malawi, Swaziland and Zambia

We are appealing to those who can assit youth with inputs, land, expertise, funding and other resources to contact us.

We need every possible support to empower our youth through agriculture, "to feed the future" of Africa
