Organisation of African Youth

The continent is shifting towards massive industrialisation without any clear regard for the environment. OAYouth is addressing the issue of Climate Change together with governments and international institutions. OAYouth is working to encourage all young people to contribute in any small way, to preserve and rebuild the natural resources of the continent. This is being done, for example, through volunteer forums for tree planting and campaigning for the preservation of the environment, creating awareness in communities.

OAYouth believe corporate fraternity should fulfil their corporate social responsibility and stop environmental degradation practices done in the name of Industrialisation and utilisation of resources. OAYouth is focused on environmental protection and sustainability measures. As a result OAYouth lobbies for environmental audits, sustainability reporting and quantification of the damages that are caused by all businesses in the regions to be performed so that companies may be encouraged to use resources sustainably for the future benefit of the African youth.
